Careem has become a symbol for goodness in Pakistan ever since its launch in October 2015. The leading cab hailing service has been offering spectacular promotions for its users such as Rishta aunty service, day to day promo codes, and collaboration with Rozee.pk in an effort to offer jobs and now the “Go Mini” ride has come as its latest scheme.
LIVING UP TO ITS SLOGAN “SASTI SAWARI, SAB PE BHARI”
What makes Careem so well loved in Pakistan is its smart targeting of customers. The latest scheme of “Go Mini” aims at people who like to be easy on the pocket while travelling. “Mehran” is an affordable car in Pakistan, owned by majority of people. This scheme aims to give small cars a chance to be part of Careem cabs. While for travellers the fares will be reduced if they use the mini rides, it will also give small car owners a chance to earn money through Careem.
Due to its popularity and convenience of use Careem is now falling short in providing rides to all its customers who have recently been complaining that Careem “taxis” are not available a lot of times. The mini rides are here to help solve this issue. Way to go Careem!
To cater to its ever-growing customers Careem has also introduced the “Careem Rickshaw” and “Careem Bike” which can be booked through its mobile application and are also easy on the pocket.
RATES AND AVAILABILITY
Initially, Careem has introduced the mini cars in Lahore, Islamabad and Gujranwala. It recently launched Careen Tezz in Rawalpindi.
Careem management stated that the fares will be 20% less for those using “Go Mini” cars. The flat rates are expected to be the same as “Careem Taxi”.
- Lahore: Rs.70
- Islamabad: Rs. 70
- Gujranwala: Rs. 50
The exact fare will be known once Careem users compare the fares after travelling via regular Careem cabs and then with Go Mini cars.
